Gary L. Kreigh

Gary L. Kreigh

Gary L. Kreigh is one of AIA Publishing’s exciting new voices in the literary field. His sensitivity to modern issues illuminates his work.

Born in Anderson, Indiana, Gary Lee Edward Kreigh graduated with an accounting degree from Ball State University. He also studied at the University of Indianapolis for Computer Technology and the Gonzaga University for Organizational Development.

Gary uses his thirty-five years in the fields of forensic accounting, fraud examination, and internal auditing to write about corporate and social issues, and experiences that affect ordinary people in extraordinary situations. His experience spans the banking, retail, finance, education, and medical industries. He now juggles his time and residence between New Orleans and Gulf Shores, Alabama.

His first book, Why Birds Fall, is a mystery about corruption in the aviation industry. His second Masquerade of Truth is a murder mystery full of colourful characters set in New Orleans, and the third, Payola, builds on this same cast of characters with another murder mystery, this time related to the music industry. In Gary’s most recent book Silence the Past Callan Morrow navigates lies, secrets and murders to uncover an extortionist demanding money to keep the secret of his target’s questionable family pasts.

Gary L. Kreigh says of The Masquerade of Truth: ‘The descriptions and issues in this book are not confined to New Orleans. Homelessness, hunger, addiction, and mental health are components of every city in the world. We, as residents, simply choose to ignore that they are a part of the city in which we live. In addition, we forget that behind every issue in every city are human beings who have stories to be told related to that issue.’
