Trish Griffith was born and bred in outback Queensland on a large sheep and cattle station during the 1950’s. The isolation and freedom of her childhood gave birth to an overwhelming desire to explore the world. She followed this urge with great passion, usually travelling the hard way—hitchhiking, local transport, horseback and more recently on foot.

Writing and literature have always been a passion for Trish, but she has never been tempted to write fiction, because she finds real life events and people far more interesting and unbelievable than any fiction.
Trish now lives in the beautiful seaside town of Kiama on the NSW coast, surrounded by ocean, mountains and grandchildren, her sources of inspiration.

Her book Dancing on the Head of a Pin is the story of Trish Griffin’s inner and outer journey as she walks the Camino de Santiago trail while managing her Type 1 insulin-dependent diabetes. The book includes 71 colour photographs and is an inspirational tale.
