Description
A serial killer chooses Easter week to leave dead pregnant teens in front of Catholic churches in New Orleans. Homicide detective Jo Crowder doggedly pursues a trail of evidence that leads to the arrest of Miguel Diaz, a twenty-year-old Latino nursing student.
However, Crowder’s instincts tell her that the evidence against Diaz was planted by the actual murderer. Though directed by her superiors to close the investigation, Crowder keeps digging. She suspects Monsignor Rossi, whose connections to the victims are too suspicious to overlook. But can she prove that the clergyman is a cold-blooded murderer in time to save Diaz?
What Readers Are Saying
“A young teenager’s nude body is discovered in front of a church. Unfortunately, she is not the last girl who will be slain—a serial killer is on the loose. The Easter Murders by Richard Zappa is a thrilling crime drama/mystery with some romance thrown in for good measure.

The author is a retired trial lawyer, so he is qualified to produce this book, much of which takes place in the courtroom. Engrossing and difficult to put down … four out of four stars.”
“Once you start reading The Easter Murders, you’ll find yourself compelled to keep on, following clue after clue, red herring after red herring, until all that’s left is the inevitable, but unpleasant, reality. Zappa has outdone himself on this one. I give this 5 stars.” Charles Ray, author and Awesome Indies Book Awards assessor
